The three sites include the Fuel, Installed Base and Control (IofC) entities, as well as most support functions.

The Old Forest Road site hosts most of the support functions and engineers assisting the Fuel and Control (IofC) entities.

The IofC entity operates several manufacturing and testing laboratories, the In-house Product Centre and a state-of-the-art display case to showcase Framatome control systems as well as a modern driving room.

The Nuclear Parts Center (NPC) is also located on Old Forest Road. Available online from https://npc.framatome.com/, NPC provides 24/7/365 access and support to its customers. The site presents a very large number of distributed and qualified parts references of high quality.

Framatome Response Centre for the national SAFER(1) (Strategic Alliance for FLEX Emergency Response) is located on the NPC site.

Mill Ridge Road is the hub of the Installed Base entity in North America. This facility includes the 2,500 m² Clean Tech Training Centre. The mission of the centre is to keep employees’ knowledge, techniques and studies up to date in order to cope with regulatory changes and technological advances.

The Outage Control Center (Outage Control Center) provides 24/7 assistance to nuclear power plant operators on all scheduled or urgent matters. It also serves as the primary SAFER(1) activation center.

The Mill Ridge Road site also serves as the primary location for the Installed Base Engineering organization. The Installed Base entity’s mission is to design and offer modernization solutions to ensure the transition to 80 years and beyond nuclear power plants.

The Mt. Athos Road site has four sites:

• The Pump & Motor Service Center. This centre offers repair, renovation and specialized resources to extend the life of critical plant components, including pumps, engines and seals.
• Contaminated Refurbishment Center. Machining, welding and manufacturing of contaminated equipment are performed to meet the maintenance challenges of secondary electricians.
• The Chemistry & Materials Center (Centre Chimie et matériaux). It supports the reliability and performance of power plants with routine, urgent tests in specialized chemistry, as well as corrosion and metallurgical tests, and analytical media.
• Outage Equipment Support Centers. The latter offer their welding, machining and manufacturing services for contaminated and non-contaminated equipmentIn addition, the European Commission has published a call for proposals for the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers for the Environment and Energy.
